Nick and I were really close. He would always drive me everywhere and he got me into a lot of trouble (: But even through all of that, I knew there was no other brother in the world like him. He was the greatest. A great brother, friend and just a great all-around person. I miss him and love him so much. There are certain songs on the radio that I can't listen to because it reminds me of him. I miss and love him so much. Close

Nick was always my "go-to" guy. Whether we were in Broomfield or Greeley we were constantly together. His loss still affects me every day in greeley, I don't use 10th Ave. anymore. But I thank Nick for introducing me to everyone I got to know in Greeley. I miss watching the nuggets, the broncos, and playing foosball. The last time I saw Nick was January 18. We were watching Scrubs. The last thing I did was shake his hand and tell him to "peace out," with every intention of seeing him again that Sunday. Nick is still in my thoughts every day, and I will continue to think about him every day. I miss him. Close

Hello there Cross family, i am an old friend of the cross family. i grew up with david, dennis and darren in the mid eighties. david and brandi talks to my sister lori sometimes. my mom gave me this website and thought i would share a thought with you. my daughter wrote a poem for my grandmother when she passed away and it was a very moving one that i would like to pass on to you and your loved ones.
it is called "Angel in my pocket"
Everywhere i go i always know that i have an angel in my pocket.
i know this because i pull it out to share my thoughts and prayers with.
some days i am sad and miss you alot
other days i am happy and i share my thoughts
every now and then i just want to talk
so i pull out my angel in my pocket
its not the same one not every time cause
every now and then they change places

I am so sorry for your loss. I know your pain all too well. I lost my 17 yr old son to suicide as well. The pain is unbearable and there is nothing that anyone can say to help. I am here if you ever need to talk. It does help a little to talk to those that know exactly what you are feeling. My son's name is Michael Allen and has a website here as well. I am here anytime.
I am not even sure what to say as the pain you are experiencing is so raw at this time. I hope you can find support in the website listed below my name. There are many support groups and foundations listed. Please be gentle with yourself and give your grief respect. No one understands your grief other than another grieving parent. Your Dad talked about how you loved them and (like a slap in the face) I remembered how we would fight over them. Silly little things. I miss your laugh, I miss our games.
